In order to promote gender equality in all Member States, the European Commission should encourage them to support the home employment sector in order to bring domestic workers out of the shadow. EFFE highlights the need to better structure and promote home employment at the European level and is committed to supporting European decision-makers in their definition of social policies that are just, inclusive, fair and that fully meet citizens’ needs.
