How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your data for no longer than the legal limitation period and in accordance with any other retention period that may be required by law. If the law does not prescribe a specific retention period, we determine the period on the basis of the purpose for which the data was collected. We do not keep your data longer than necessary to accomplish this function.

• For Newsletter subscribers: personal data are deleted within one month after receiving your request to unsubscribe.

How do we use your data?
Processing of personal data is carried out for one of the following purposes:

• to give visitors access to the website’s functionalities (newsletter) ;
• to enable EFFE to reply by telephone, e-mail or post to people who have contacted it or to contact people who have accepted it for the purposes of information, surveys, studies, or presentation of its missions, services, conditions for joining the Federation.

On what legal basis do we process your personal data?
Processing operations carried out for one of the purposes set out above are based on the consent of the data subjects.
The operations of depositing cookies are implemented after obtaining the User’s consent.
If EFFE decides to develop a thematic version of its newsletter, users registered for this publication may be offered the new version without their consent being collected again.

How do we keep your personal information safe?
EFFE has already taken appropriate technological and organizational measures in order to ensure the security of the collected and stored data. In other words, it aims to prevent unauthorised access, loss, destruction, misuse, alteration or disclosure of your data.
All data are stored in France.

Your personal data is only used for purposes strictly limited to EFFE’s services.
EFFE is committed to not sharing your data with third parties or even transfer it abroad the EU, unless we have your personal agreement.

• Right to object processing: you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your personal situation, to the processing of your data;
• Right to data portability: the data with which you have provided us can, upon request, be delivered to you, or directly by us to another controller, in a structured and interoperable format, provided that this is technically possible.
• Right to issue guidelines as to the fate of your personal data after your death ;
• Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, namely the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) on French territory or to obtain compensation from the competent courts if the you consider that EFFE has not respected your rights.
